Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program: Digital Outreach and Scholarship Recruitment Campaign

The Context

Innovety supported the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program (OSSP) by designing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy to boost awareness and applications. The program, which provides Egyptian youth with opportunities to pursue master’s degrees at top US universities, needed to expand its reach, engage eligible candidates through diverse channels, and increase the quality and volume of applications.

Our Approach

We executed a multi-channel digital campaign across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google AdWords, and Instagram. Content formats included webinars, podcasts, videos, pre-application kits, and live Twitter chats to guide applicants throughout the process. Campaign performance was continuously optimized through tracking of KPIs such as impressions, clicks, application completions, and cost per acquisition.

Our Impact
  • Expanded program reach by achieving 20+ million impressions and generating 100,000+ clicks, significantly boosting visibility among target audiences.
  • Improved applicant preparedness through tailored content, including webinars and pre-application kits, simplifying and enhancing the application process.

Arab States Regional Social Media Strategy for UN Visibility

The Context

To boost UNFPA’s visibility across the Arab States, Innovety partnered with UNFPA ASRO to map and analyze the social media presence of its regional and 15 country offices. The project aimed to identify strengths and gaps, design a 2023–2024 social media strategy, and equip teams with practical tools to strengthen outreach and engagement.

Our Approach

We conducted a comprehensive audit of UNFPA’s regional and country office platforms, developed a unified regional social media strategy, and created guides for ads management and performance monitoring. An online workshop was delivered to communications focal points across all 15 offices to ensure alignment and build capacity for effective rollout.

  • Improved digital visibility for UNFPA ASRO through a clear, data-driven social media strategy tailored to regional and country-level contexts.
  • Equipped communications teams across 15 country offices with practical skills in campaign management, paid ads, and performance evaluation.
  • Established a standardized digital framework to ensure consistent, measurable, and impactful social media engagement across the region.

CultNat: Cultural Digitalization and Outreach for Heritage Promotion

The Context

Egypt’s cultural products at CultNat suffered from limited visibility and poor promotion. Innovety partnered with CultNat to design a digital strategy that enhanced cultural engagement, built staff capacity in digital marketing and 3D visualization, and piloted campaigns to expand heritage outreach locally and globally.

Our Approach

We introduced a three-phase strategy (awareness, education, engagement), trained 35 staff in digital marketing and 25 in 3D visualization, and launched three pilot campaigns with coaching and shadowing to ensure sustainable adoption.

Our Impact
  • Increased CultNat’s digital footprint, growing its audience from under 10,000 to 28,000+ followers, with a reach of 5M+ users.
  • Boosted engagement by 22% and generated 1,000+ qualified leads, driving greater participation in cultural heritage programs.
  • Equipped CultNat teams with lasting skills in digital marketing and 3D visualization, enabling them to independently manage future campaigns and expand Egypt’s cultural outreach.

Digital Transformation and Media Capacity for Local NGOs in Lebanon

  • Services: Socioeconomic Development, Digital Strategy & E-commerce
  • Location: Lebanon
The Context

Aligned with the global “localization of aid” agenda, the Shabake Project empowered six Lebanese NGOs to lead crisis recovery efforts after the Syrian crisis, COVID-19, and the Beirut Port explosion. Innovety was tasked with building their digitalization skills to support MSMEs through a digital media strategy guidebook and hands-on training.

Our Approach

We created a step-by-step digital media guidebook for MSMEs and delivered a Training of Trainers to 20 NGO representatives. The program built their capacity to coach businesses on social media, e-commerce, content strategy, web analytics, and digital marketing, ensuring sustainable digital transformation support.

  • Equipped 20 NGO representatives with hands-on skills to guide MSMEs in digital transformation and social media adoption.
  • Enhanced the digital capacity of six Lebanese NGOs, enabling them to provide lasting support for livelihoods and SME recovery.
  • Created a replicable digital media strategy framework, empowering local actors to sustain business digitalization efforts across Lebanon.

Digital Strategy & Online Marketing Training for Women in Business

The Context

Under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) program, Innovety supported women-owned and women-managed MSMEs in Egypt to strengthen their digital presence, improve brand visibility, and expand market share. The initiative aimed to equip participants with practical tools for digital marketing, e-commerce, and reputation management to help them drive growth and customer acquisition.

Our Approach

Delivered customized training on SEO, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, e-business commerce, and social media strategies. Designed client-specific digital marketing strategies for participating businesses, including Pandora, Royal Herbs, and BZNSCloud, with a focus on rebranding, digital content creation, and online reputation management.
