At Innovety, we create end-to-end socioeconomic development programs that deliver measurable results for people and economies.
We design skill development programs so public sector institutions can deliver better services, youth and women can access decent work or start their own businesses, and MSMEs can scale into new markets.
This isn’t abstract development, it’s about delivering:

Socioeconomic development is the process of improving both the economic and social conditions of communities. It goes beyond GDP growth to address education, healthcare, job creation, and inclusive opportunities. At Innovety, we see it as building systems where youth, women, and MSMEs can access skills, markets, and resources — creating stronger economies and more equitable societies. Without it, countries risk high unemployment, limited innovation, and widening inequality.
The most powerful drivers include education and skills development, healthcare access, infrastructure, entrepreneurship support, and social inclusion. When these areas improve, people gain employability, businesses grow, and governments can deliver better services. For example, digital transformation and export readiness are now critical factors shaping competitiveness. Innovety designs integrated programs that connect these drivers to deliver measurable impact.
By creating opportunities for decent work, entrepreneurship, and skills-building, socioeconomic development directly addresses the root causes of poverty. It also ensures that women, youth, and marginalized groups are not left behind. For instance, micro-enterprise training, digital tools, and market access initiatives give vulnerable populations pathways to sustainable income. This translates into reduced income gaps and stronger, more resilient communities.
Education and skills training are the backbone of socioeconomic progress. Future-ready skills — from digital literacy to entrepreneurship — allow individuals to secure jobs or create their own businesses. Innovety partners with governments, universities, and NGOs to co-design learning pathways that match employer demand, preparing youth and women for meaningful participation in the labor market. This creates a skilled workforce that drives both innovation and inclusive growth.
Sustainability ensures that development today does not compromise future generations. Green innovation, climate resilience, and ESG-aligned programs strengthen both economies and communities. For example, adopting circular economy models or clean energy solutions not only creates new jobs but also protects natural resources. Linking socioeconomic development with sustainability enables countries to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while driving long-term competitiveness.
Effective programs include youth employability initiatives, startup and MSME support, incubator and accelerator development, digital adoption, and export readiness strategies. At Innovety, our work has ranged from building public sector capacity to designing digital platforms that expand market access. Each program is evidence-based, co-created with stakeholders, and focused on measurable results such as job creation, revenue growth, and social inclusion.
Economic development focuses primarily on financial growth, investment, and industrial expansion. Socioeconomic development, on the other hand, integrates the social dimension — ensuring that growth is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable. This means prioritizing education, healthcare, and social equity alongside business competitiveness and market expansion. In short: economic growth is about numbers; socioeconomic development is about people and prosperity together.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities for Growth.
To support its ambition of achieving USD 5 billion in exports by 2017, the Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEEC) sought to enhance the visibility of its 250 member organizations internationally. Innovety was engaged to build a comprehensive member database and create a virtual exhibition platform, enabling global buyers to easily discover, connect with, and engage Egyptian engineering companies.
Innovety conducted extensive data collection through field visits, interviews, and online surveys, compiling a searchable database categorizing member companies by type, products, and export capabilities. A 3D virtual exhibition was developed to showcase member products interactively, serving as a digital gateway for international buyers. Ongoing project management ensured the timely delivery of milestones and a scalable system for future updates.
Women-led MSMEs in Jordan remain an underutilized engine for growth but face persistent barriers to exporting, such as limited market intelligence, weak networks, and insufficient technical capacity. Innovety was engaged to enhance the export readiness of 50 high-potential women-led MSMEs in sectors including fashion, food & drink, education, and retail. The program also sought to establish a network of 25 Business Advisors (BAs) to provide long-term mentorship and foster sustainable export growth for women entrepreneurs.
We designed eligibility criteria, selected participants, and delivered a 10-module export readiness curriculum combining group workshops and one-on-one coaching. Activities were reinforced with networking sessions and a hybrid buyer matchmaking event. To ensure long-term impact, a monitoring and evaluation framework was embedded to measure effectiveness and guide future initiatives.
Amid Lebanon’s severe economic, financial, and humanitarian crises since 2019, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the agri-food sector remain critical to economic recovery. Innovety was engaged to build the export capabilities of these MSMEs by designing and delivering a comprehensive training journey—enabling them to understand, plan, and commercialize exports—thereby contributing to job creation, productivity growth, and economic resilience.
Innovety designed an export-focused curriculum comprising 11 training modules and developed clear selection criteria to identify high-potential trainers. A multiple day virtual Training of Trainers (ToT) was delivered to 25 selected participants, equipping them with the skills and tools to cascade export knowledge to MSMEs across Lebanon.
Egyptian MSMEs and industrial stakeholders often struggle with limited visibility and international market access, restricting their global competitiveness. To address this, Innovety partnered with the Export Council to design and launch an E-Directory platform. The objective was to strengthen market linkages, boost international visibility for Egyptian industries, and equip MSMEs with digital tools to promote their products globally.
Innovety developed the platform’s strategy, infrastructure, and user interface, featuring advanced search functions and an interactive ecosystem map. We curated content for 50 companies across priority sectors, building detailed, up-to-date profiles for global stakeholders. To maximize reach, we executed a digital outreach campaign (SEO, Google Ads, social media) and trained Export Council staff to manage content and ensure the platform’s long-term sustainability.
Wataneya Society sought to digitize its institutional development services and position itself as a regional leader in alternative care by launching an e-learning platform. The goal was to upskill caregivers, orphanage staff, and foster care professionals across Egypt and the MENA region while ensuring sustainability and outreach amid COVID-19-driven shifts toward distance learning.
Conducted a comprehensive status quo and market analysis covering platform features, content models, business models, and digital strategies. Designed a tailored e-learning platform, developed course content for alternative care providers, and proposed monetization strategies. A full marketing and communications plan was created to drive outreach and user adoption.
The Misr Innovative Arts Platform (MINNA) was launched to strengthen the capacity of Egyptian artists and cultural operators, tackling gaps in training, funding, and audience engagement. The program promoted culture and diversity as engines of social and economic growth, aligned with Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2020. Objectives included fostering job creation in the cultural sector, improving access to finance, boosting marketing skills, and expanding public participation in cultural activities.
Innovety designed and developed the MINNA online platform, complete with dedicated landing pages for open calls. We built a strong digital presence through social media, newsletters, ads, and press outreach, while producing e-learning modules and running targeted online campaigns. A comprehensive digital communication strategy ensured maximum reach, visibility, and audience engagement.
To address the lack of a unified mechanism for connecting Egypt’s innovation stakeholders, Innovety partnered with MCIT to create EgyptInnovate.com, a one-stop platform fostering collaboration among startups, universities, industry, and individual innovators. The platform aimed to overcome ecosystem barriers—such as limited awareness of innovation management, weak IP infrastructure, and insufficient startup support—while positioning entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
Designed and launched Egypt’s first comprehensive innovation platform, combining interactive tools, knowledge resources, and ecosystem mapping. Developed and managed engaging content, including articles, toolkits, e-learning modules, and event listings, while implementing a digital strategy to expand the platform’s reach and impact.
Commissioned by the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD) in Saudi Arabia, this project aimed to design a comprehensive innovation platform to accelerate research, collaboration, and technological advancement in the defense sector. The platform was intended to align with GADD’s strategic priorities, establish mechanisms for managing the full innovation cycle, and strengthen stakeholder engagement and internal capabilities.
We launched the project with a governance and objectives alignment workshop with GADD stakeholders, followed by benchmarking global defense innovation platforms to extract best practices. Innovety then designed the platform’s functional and governance requirements, covering user interaction and integration mechanisms. To ensure sustainability, we delivered capacity-building workshops and training for GADD staff, supported by continuous project management and stakeholder engagement.
Under the START framework and RDPP, this project transformed Bosla into a regional service repository for migrants in five North African countries. The outdated platform was replaced with a modern, multi-language system to improve user experience, enable community engagement, and provide IOM with exportable offline data.
We rebuilt the platform with a new website and mobile app, enhanced UI/UX, multi-language support, and country-specific features. Back-end systems were optimized, content migrated, and IOM staff trained through ToT sessions. A user manual was delivered to ensure smooth operation and maintenance.
Innovety supported the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program (OSSP) by designing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy to boost awareness and applications. The program, which provides Egyptian youth with opportunities to pursue master’s degrees at top US universities, needed to expand its reach, engage eligible candidates through diverse channels, and increase the quality and volume of applications.
We executed a multi-channel digital campaign across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google AdWords, and Instagram. Content formats included webinars, podcasts, videos, pre-application kits, and live Twitter chats to guide applicants throughout the process. Campaign performance was continuously optimized through tracking of KPIs such as impressions, clicks, application completions, and cost per acquisition.
